Another stunner: Demling is high on National Treasure in the Belmont Stakes 2023, even though he's a 5-1 longshot. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. National Treasure is coming off winning the Preakness Stakes on May 20 in Bob Baffert's first Triple Crown entry following a two-year ban. But with some of the top horses entering this year's Kentucky Derby not competing in the Preakness Stakes, Baffert faced a weaker field than he will at the 2023 Belmont Stakes.

Baffert knows how to get a horse ready for the Belmont Stakes, though. The 70-year-old trainer is a three-time winner at the Belmont Stakes, including two of his last three appearances. National Treasure snapped a four-race losing streak with the Preakness victory, but the bay-colored colt never finished worse than fourth in those graded-stakes races. National Treasure displayed his closing ability at the Preakness Stakes and won't be intimidated by 2023 Belmont Stakes horses like Forte and Tapit Trice.
